The sailing club, equipped with teaching catamarans, is located 300m from the Villa.
The garden lawn is perfect to set up windsurf boards, and the large garage allows you to store sails when not in use.
It is a great spot for windsurfers.
Sailing club activities are easy to watch from the veranda or the garden.
The Villa is located halfway between the Omaha and Utah beaches. The museums allow you to rediscover the adventure of the D-day.
The Pointe du Hoc is accessible by foot from the Villa( 2 hour walk)
La villa est située juste entre la plage de OMAHA et celle d'UTAH. Les musées permettent d'y redécouvrir l'épopée du débarquement de Normandie.
A 25 km, la ville de Bayeux mérite le détour. Le centre historique et la cathédrale sont très bien conservés et offrent une belle parenthèse culturelle.
La tapisserie de Bayeux (qui d'ailleurs est une broderie et non une tapisserie) est incontournable, c'est vraiment une œuvre unique très émouvante à visiter.
The Mont Saint Michel is a 1h40 drive. It is a great opportunity for a 1day-excursion.
